Hello! I'm Cher aka the artist behind THAT BLONDE.
An abstract artist based in Blackpool, UK. I've been painting & creating since 2018.
Entirely self taught with an ever evolving experimental style, I most love to work with acrylics &
alcohol inks with a heavy sprinkling of metallics in all of my artworks.
I'm just as at home creating vivid, bold, statement pieces as I am painting delicate, neutral, muted artworks.
Quite simply...I adore colour, texture & creating art that each time you look at it you notice something new.
I never anticipated a career in the art world. My love of painting all happened by chance & serendipity.
From one day exploring a new hobby to quiet my mind from the hectic noise of motherhood & running a business
to now being a full time artist specialising in bespoke artwork to suit my clients interiors & home decor style

It's bittersweet that it took me until my 30s to uncover this untapped passion & love for painting,
but now I have, I'm doing my best to make up for lost time. Day to day my time is spent creating bespoke commissions specific to my clients home decor colour palette. Any time that I find myself with between commissions, I use to create ready to order art which can be ordered directly via my shop here. When I'm not covered in paint & ink you'll find me juggling 3 kids & a busy home; along with my amazing partner who for some reason supports all of my
crazy ideas & passions - even if they do take over half the house!
